Morris & Co. was responsible for the decoration of Wightwick Manor, near Wolverhampton, now a National Trust property. Stained-glass windows by Charles Eamer Kempe (1837-1907) were installed in both the 1887 and 1893 parts of Wightwick Manor. Kempe windows are among the finest Victorian stained glass and found in churches all over Britain and throughout the world; they are often 'signed' with his badge, a wheatsheaf. Domestic work by Kempe, like that at Wightwick, is rare.
