We regret that we cannot accept returns on wallpaper,
fabric, or samples of either. Please use our Sample
Cutting Service to ensure that you are happy with the
product before you purchase it.
Please double check the amount of wallpaper that you
are ordering. There are different sizes of wallpaper
roll, and each one will cover a different amount of
wall. Check the size of the roll of the design you are
ordering. Use our Wallpaper Calculator as another check
for amounts required.
Tiles
We encourage you to purchase individual tiles as colour
samples prior to placing larger orders. These sample
tiles can be refunded or exchanged according to the
Returns and Exchanges Policy.
If you order a larger tile installation without adequate
sampling, this can be costly for you to return if the
tiles do not prove suitable. Larger tile orders require
significant handling and packing. We therefore will
levy a 20% restocking fee on returned tile orders over
$300 or over 20 tiles.
Cancellations or Order Changes
If your order has already been shipped, even if you
have not yet received it, then your order is subject
to the Return Policy. If it has not yet been shipped
(or fabric cut), it may be possible to change your order.
Undeliverable Orders
Many orders are sent by courier services such as Fedex, UPS or DHL, which require a signature upon delivery. If no-one is there to receive and sign for the delivery, 3 attempts will be made before the goods are returned to us. We can re-ship the goods at a later date but you would incur a second delivery charge plus the costs of goods return to us. Please ensure that you give us a correct delivery address and inform us of any vacation plans during which time goods cannot be delivered.
Sale or Clearance Items
All sales of Sale and Clearance items are final and not returnable.
Returns and Exchanges
We will accept returns or exchanges on other items,
with the following limitations:
1. You must notify us within 15 days of receipt of the
goods, and receive a Return Authorization Number as well
as shipping instructions for the return of the item to
ensure the safest and most and cost-effective method
of shipping to Canada.
2. A 10% handling fee will be levied on unauthorized
return refunds. Please be sure you obtain the Return
Authorization Number before returning any goods.
3. The item must be returned in the original packaging,
and be received in clean, re-saleable condition. Please
ensure that breakable items are carefully repacked.
4. If we made an error, we will pay for the shipping
costs. Otherwise, you must return the goods prepaid by
a pre-approved shipping method. (See #1 above). If a
Return is made by any courier services such as Fedex
or UPS, this will incur cross-border charges for us.
These charges will be deducted from your final refund.
5. The refund will be made for the Cost of the Item
only; the original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Mistakes
Mistakes occasionally happen, through human or other
error. We have a great track record of satisfied customers
since we opened in 1989. It is a record that we want
to continue. All of us at HISTORIC STYLE want
you to be happy with your purchase. If a mistake is made,
we will do our very best to correct it, as quickly and
easily as we can.
